MAT provides Landmine and Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) clearance and disposal programmes, currently operating in Kosovo, Rwanda, the South of Sudan and the Darfur region of Sudan.


De-mining is the most dangerous yet crucial part of MAT's operations. MAT works in post-conflict countries and works hard to hand safe land back to communities that have been affected by landmines. In most cases, socio economic growth is affected due to landmines and UXO's being left after conflict and it is MAT's job to rid the land of them.
