Capacity building of a national NGO in MRE and data gathering. Training of 20 MRE trainers and their deployment with returning refugees/ IDP’s to six districts of central/ northern Sri Lanka. Handed project over to the national NGO who are still active in MA, as the largest MRE/ Data gathering NGO in MA in Sri Lanka.

Capacity building a local Sri Lankan foundation, to train and use Mine Detection Dogs (MDD’s) for area reduction in areas of Sri Lanka suspected of containing landmines to IMAS.
